How to request account deletion
To request deletion of your AuraCache account, send an email to hello@auracache.app with the subject line “Delete my AuraCache account”.
Please send the request from the email address connected to your AuraCache account. This helps us verify that the request belongs to the account owner.
What to include in your request
Include the email address connected to your AuraCache account and write that you want your AuraCache account and associated account data deleted.
Do not include passwords, payment card details, private links, or other sensitive information in your email.
What data is deleted
After your request is verified, AuraCache will delete or anonymize account-related data that is no longer required for legitimate purposes. This may include your account identifier, email address, profile settings, subscription-related app status, cloud-backed account data if enabled, and other account records associated with your AuraCache account.
Local device data
AuraCache is designed with a local-first product direction. Some saved links, reminders, categories, preferences, and app data may exist only on your device.
Local device data can be removed by using available deletion controls inside the app or by uninstalling AuraCache from your device. If the data exists only on your device, AuraCache cannot delete it remotely after the app has been removed.
Data that may be retained
Some limited records may be retained when required for legitimate purposes such as security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, billing records, tax obligations, dispute handling, abuse prevention, or enforcing our terms.
Retained data will be limited to what is reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Processing time
We aim to process verified deletion requests within a reasonable time period. If additional verification is required, we may contact you using the email address connected to the request.
